Alligator Hunts in Florida  Our alligator hunts at Razzor Ranch started out with an awesome breakfast. It consisted of biscuits, gravy, eggs and bacon cooked over an open fire. After getting fueled up for this Florida gator hunting experience we headed out on foot to approach one of the numerous lakes and ponds on the ranch using the spot and stalk method. I was outfitted with a rifle, pistol and a heavy duty rod and reel with a huge treble hook.  Within minutes (which seemed like hours) I noticed a huge beast of an alligator swimming across the pond we were at. As instructed before the hunt I tossed the line out and managed to snag the gator on my first try! Well at that point the fight was on. I fought that gator for about 30 minutes or so. I was sure glad to of had that breakfast. When I got the gator in close I handed the rod and reel off to my guide and got my rifle at the ready. He proceeded to reel the gator in closer for me to so I could get a clean shot at the dime sized spot on the gators head that I was instructed to aim at. My first shot was a bull’s eye!!!!  I have never been so excited in my life. I cannot explain the adrenaline rush I got from my alligator hunting adventure at this south Florida alligator hunting ranch.  I highly recommend anyone going on this type of gator hunt. It was my first time and it will not be my last at Razor Ranch.
